NEW SINGLE | HANDLE WITH CARE
The Exquisite Taste of Plain Water (ETPW) is proud to announce the release of their latest single, a fresh and thoughtfully reimagined rendition of the Traveling Wilburys’ beloved classic, “Handle With Care.”

This special release features legendary artist Tommy Tutone — best known for his iconic hit “867-5309 / Jenny” — alongside regional singer-songwriters Bees in a Bottle. Blending ETPW’s signature Americana and rock influences with the timeless spirit of the original recording, the collaboration delivers a rich, modern take while honoring the heart of the classic track.

ETPW brings a renewed energy and authenticity to “Handle With Care,” showcasing both their musical versatility and deep respect for the artists who inspired them. The addition of Tutone’s unmistakable voice and the textured harmonies of Bees in a Bottle elevates the track into something both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

“We wanted to approach this song with care and intention,” said the band. “It’s a classic for a reason, and collaborating with such incredible artists allowed us to create something that feels both familiar and entirely our own.”

The single is now available on all major streaming platforms, with the accompanying music video available on YouTube.
The LATEST Album From
The Exquisite Taste of Plain Water
Released in early 2025, The Exquisite Taste of Plain Water (ETPW) continues to expand its artistic vision with their third album, Sailor Songs or Battle Hymns. This new collection of songs marks a defining milestone for the band and highlights ETPW’s growth through intimate storytelling, expressive songwriting, and dynamic musicianship. Blending elements of Classic Country, Americana, Outlaw Country, Rock, and hints of Pop, the band delivers a timeless yet refreshing sound rooted deeply in authenticity.

Honest lyrics, powerful harmonies, and emotional resonance stand at the core of ETPW’s work—songs that explore love, loss, hope, desperation, and redemption. Recorded with the assistance of legendary engineer/producer Jeff Stuart Saltzman (Death Cab for Cutie, Stephen Malkmus, Blitzen Trapper, etc.), the album was then mastered by acclaimed engineer Dave McNair (Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Drive-By Truckers, etc). The making of the album was documented by Emmy Award–winning director Ian Southworth of Milkman Pictures. His footage became a full-length feature film that also incorporates music videos for each track.

Sailor Songs or Battle Hymns is available on all major streaming platforms, with CDs available at live shows and through the band’s online store.
